When Hugo met Sally...
Like many modern love stories, ours began with a right swipe in September 2021. A few messages later, we found ourselves on our first date at the student union bar at the University of Essex.
We had actually been just metres apart all along. We both worked on campus, with our offices next to each other, and regularly went to the campus café - but never crossed paths until the apps brought us together.
After many adventures, last summer, we spent a day in Avington, Hampshire paddleboarding and kayaking on one of the lakes. Later that day, on a countryside walk, Hugo proposed.
Now, we can’t wait to celebrate our next chapter with you!
